June 10, 2018 VICFA Annual Membership Meeting:
We were hosted by the Salatin family at “Polyface Farm”, Swoope, VA. The meeting proceeded as usual with a delicious lunch, a review of the year, election of officers, board members and other business, then a tremendous storm appeared from nowhere with thunder, lightning, plus horizontal wind and rain which blew through the windbreak in the pavilion where the meeting was being held! Thanks to Joel, Teresa and Lucille for hosting us, and the brave VICFA members who made it through the most exciting meeting ever!
